Island Center Cemetery Cleanup Day
Help us restore and care for our community’s history by joining our Island Center Cemetery Cleanup Day on Saturday, May 24. We’ll be clearing debris, cleaning headstones, and ensuring the cemetery remains a respectful resting place.
Bring glove and pruning shears - water and snacks will be provided!
This is a great opportunity to give back, enjoy the outdoors, and honor those who came before us.
Space is limited, please register for free for a shift (10:00am-12:00pm and 12:00pm-2:00pm).

2025 Founders Tournament
Presented by the Bainbridge History Museum, the 6th Annual Bainbridge Island Founders Tournament is coming to the island August 13-17, 2025! Help us celebrate the viral sport where it was invented 60 years ago!
Spectators can watch for FREE - from the first serve to the last matches - at Battle Point Park on Bainbridge Island. There will be vendors, hospitality tents, and food trucks. Battle Point Park has an adjacent playground - plus there’s amazing shopping and eating throughout the island - so bring the kids.
It’s all part of celebrating where the fastest growing sport in America started with simple garage-made wooden paddles and a wiffle ball.
General registration starts April 15 at noon and ends April 18 at midnight!
